Bzzzz, Brummm, KlingKlang: Self-Built Music Machines

For this five-day holiday course the Kollektiv Selbstgebaute Musik is a guest at the exploratorium. Here you tinker, experiment and screw things together: you learn to solder piezo microphones, plugs and potentiometers. With your MIDI-controlled music machines you make the whole exploratorium hall and its furnishings ring out – coaxing beats from radiators, floors and chairs.

At the end of the course there's a presentation – whether as a concert or a party with a DJ set emerges as you work.
